Privacy Policy

Last updated 24 June 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains how CHRIS ANDERSON PLUMBING AND HEATING LIMITED(“Candersonph”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit candersonph.shop or place an order. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

1. Who we are

CHRIS ANDERSON PLUMBING AND HEATING LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales under number 05228824, registered office 2 Dovedale Avenue, Scarborough, North Yorkshire, YO12 6JX. For any privacy question, contact support@candersonph.shop or call +44 7961273138.

2. Data we collect

  • Identity and contact data: name, email, phone, billing and shipping address.
  • Order data: items purchased, order value, order history and correspondence.
  • Enquiry data: details you submit through our contact or bulk-order forms.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and pages viewed.
  • Payment data: card and wallet details are entered directly with our payment providers. We do not see or store full card numbers on our servers.

3. How we use your data

  • To process and deliver your orders and provide customer support (performance of a contract).
  • To respond to enquiries you send us (legitimate interests / your consent).
  • To prevent fraud and keep the site secure (legitimate interests / legal obligation).
  • To meet accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation).
  • To send service updates about your order, and, only with your consent, marketing email.

4. Payment processing

Payments are handled by PCI-DSS compliant providers (such as Stripe and PayPal). When you pay, the relevant provider processes your payment details as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. We receive confirmation of payment and limited transaction information, not your full card details.

5. Sharing your data

We share data only with providers that help us operate: payment processors, shipping and fulfilment partners, hosting and analytics providers, and professional advisers. We require them to protect your data and use it only on our instructions. We never sell your personal data.

6. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the UK or EEA. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

7. Retention

We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfil the order and to meet legal, accounting and tax requirements, then delete or anonymise them. Enquiry data is kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restrict or object to processing, and request portability. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you rights to know, delete and opt out of any “sale” of personal information; we do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email support@candersonph.shop.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the cart and checkout, and limited analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

10. Complaints

If you are in the UK and have a concern we cannot resolve, you may contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
